Scooters are limited in speed, why not apply this to cars?
It is forbidden, in France, to go faster than 130 km/h. Then why don’t we limit cars to 130 km/h? What is the purpose of a car that can go to 200 or 250?
The same applies to acceleration. It is the same as speed, if the only purpose is to show how much you are worth, let’s limit acceleration too.
And to show how much some people are worth, they would go to a circuit.
Cars that transport 4 or 6 people weigh more than for 2, so the weight could differ but not the acceleration or speed.
That would make crossroads smoother.
Trump will say this is communism.
Cars would differ by their color ans finition.
But rich people would not adhere. So they would pay malus and drive bigger cars? Back to scooters, do rich people get bigger scooters or will they set their money elsewhere than on a faster scooter?
Adaptative speed limits
Scooters limits can be made dependent on their location. Transposed to cars, that would ensure no car goes faster than 50 km/h within the bounds of a city.
