In his latest book « Elon Musk en 50 tweets », David Chavalarias described the word Woke as a « fourre-tout », a bazar-word. He also gives the most brilliant definition of Woke, that I translate below.

I had been looking for a while for a simple definition of wokism, not based on the historical condition from when it was born, but rather based on what it has become with the current US administration. And based on the definition above, I can now say that Woke is Beautiful. That it represents all I believe in. So I am happy I do not live in the US and I hope that that trend does not come to Europe too fast.
